for 1854, with 5in. octagonal barrel signed 'ADDRESS COL COLT LONDON.', London proofs, plain cylinder with roll engraved scene stamped 'COLT'S PATENT' along with the serial number, open iron frame signed 'COLT'S PATENT', iron grip-straps and trigger-guard bow, plain walnut smooth one-piece grip and articulated under-barrel rammer, traces of faded, possible original, finish throughout
